Jenny Ahn Cohort 1
My name is Jenny and I am a Yoga Instructor and an Ayurvedic Practitioner with an emphasis on wombyn's health and healing. I also work with mothers in postpartum care using ancient Ayurvedic healing remedies to nurture and nourish a mother and infant after birth, to optimal health and well being. I also teach belly dancing as another modality for healing the womb, as well as Henna Art and Design. My mission is to share with my local Long Beach community the healing benefits of Yoga and Ayurveda, so that we may all find more peace and freedom in our lives from suffering. I recommend the training to wombyn who feel ready to take charge of their health, especially their Gynecological health. Many wombyn are not educated enough about their bodies needs, nor rights, unfortunately. Or even know that we have options. One aspect of the training involves looking at each other's and own cervix. This may sound radical or even strange to many, but I realize that its not the act of actually looking at your cervix that is so liberating. It's about being in the space of other wombyn that are open and willing to share and explore their own bodies, that helps you to really feel safe in being more open and trusting with yourself. That is empowering! You can learn more about my work in my website and FB page.
